With over 320 boys and girls aged 5 - 15 in 26 teams we are committed to providing football to all children within our community. AFC Waverton gains FA Charter Status
The club is delighted to announce that it has achieved FA Charter Status. The FA Charter Standard Award provides recognition that AFC Waverton is a well run and sustainable junior football club, with child protection and safety paramount. It also recognises the club's commitment to coaching, player & coach development, and the raising of standards of behaviour in the game - all of which are big priorities for The FA. Club chairman, Graham Frost, is awarded Volunteer of the Year 2009 - recognition for all his efforts in steering the progress of the club and bringing football to over 300 children in the area. Well done and Thank you!
