Kit donation to Romanian Orphanage

Over recent years we have been collecting kits, boots etc to go to support a football academy at an orphanage in Romania (http://www.cfacademic.ro/en/) and the club is glad to report that we have now been able to deliver much of that equipment to Romania.

The Orphanage has asked the club to pass on the sincerest of thanks to all those managers, players and parents who have made so many donations - it has been a really worthwhile endeavour. ThankYou

AFC Waverton  - An FA charter standard club

The FA Charter Standard Award provides recognition that AFC Waverton is a well run and sustainable junior football club, with child protection and safety paramount. It also recognises the club's commitment to coaching, player & coach development, and the raising of standards of behaviour in the game - all of which are big priorities for The FA.

Local Football Clubs are the heartbeat of football in this country. That is why The FA Charter Standard club programme, which raises standards and recognises and rewards quality, is so important.
