Waverton u12 girls finished off their first ever league season with impressive performances at the Runcorn Linnets and Llandudno FC tournaments. At both events, the girls made it to the semi finals and were beaten in both by just the odd goal

On Saturday 9th May 2015 the Waverton u10s Wasps beat the Groves to win the Shield continuing the winning run started by the u9s. Well done to the lads.

AFC Waverton Wasps under 9s (managed and coached by Graham Frost, Andy Smith and Russ Bennet) capped a very successful season by winning the under 9s Cup at the Chester and District Cup Finals held recently at the home of Chester City. They reached the final undefeated and without conceding a single goal throughout the knockout stages and ran out eventual winners beating Tarvin 3-1 in the final. Congratulations to all involved.

Kit Collection Arrives at Romanian Orphanage!

Over the past year we have been collecting kits, boots etc to go to support a football academy at an orphanage in Romania (http://www.cfacademic.ro/en/) and the club is glad to report that we have now been able to deliver much of that equipment to Romania.

The Orphanage has asked the club to pass on the sincerest of thanks to all those managers, players and parents who have made so many donations - it has been a really worthwhile endeavour.

Thank You!
