Kit Collection Arrives at Romanian Orphanage! Over the past year we have been collecting kits, boots etc to go to support a football academy at an orphanage in Romania (http://www.cfacademic.ro/en/) and the club is glad to report that we have now been able to deliver much of that equipment to Romania. Club chairman, Graham Frost, is awarded Volunteer of the Year 2009 - recognition for all his efforts in steering the progress of the club and bringing football to over 300 children in the area. Well done and Thank you!

Local Company supports Local Young Football Stars
AFC Waverton Junior Football Club are delighted to announce a new Shirt and coaching sponsorship deal with Birch Heath Lodge Nursing Home in Christleton. Birch Heath Lodge is part of the Mary Malliband Care Group and in Christleton they provide care for up to 38 residents. All associated with AFC Waverton would like to express their gratitude for this generosity – and pictured are some of the ladies who play for AFC ladies, Ladies football development manager David Harker and ladies coaches Robbie Mills and Paul Bowman receiving a cheque from the Manager of Birch Heath Lodge Nursing home Ann Evans and the Homes administrator Ann Gregory.
